The main symtomp of diabetes mellitus is an increase of blood glucose concentration, therefore it can be decreased using natural subtances. The research aimed to the juice of Citrus aurantifolia Swingle can decrease the concentration of blood glucose and total cholesterol content in Mus musculus. The subjects were 25 Mus musculus of BalB/cAnN starin. The chemical subtance used to increase the concentration of blood glucose  was 1 cc/kb BB of dextrose monohidrat 10%. The animals were devided into 6 groups that are threaded by giving : negative control (CMC 1%, 1 ml/20 g BB), positiv control (glibenclamid 0,013 mg/20 g BB), juice of Citrus auratifolia Swingle in various concentration (0,5, 2, 5 mg/20 g BB). The concentration of blood  glucose and total cholesterol content was measured using glico test. The data gained were analyzed using repetead ANOVA followed by Duncan at 5% confidence level. The results of this research shows that the of Citrus aurantifolia Swingle giving significant effect on the reduction of blood glucose (p<0,05), however it does not appear to have the same result to total cholesterol content. At various concentration of Citrus aurantifolia Swingle, the total cholesterol of rat remain stable. The optimum concentration to provide hypoglicemic activity raised at 2 mg/ 20 g BB dose.

Keywords : Citrus aurantifolia Swingle, blood glucose, total cholesterol content.
